Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Overview:
Assist day to day facility maintenance activities including but not limited to daily equipment checks including HVAC, building, grounds, plumbing, plant lighting, production facility equipment, electrical and installation projects.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with OEM equipment manufacturers for warranty and non-warranty repair.
Responsible for facilities & grounds repairs Responsible for semi and annual preventive maintenance on equipment are performed on time Responsible for a variety of electrical installation projects as assigned Responsible for proper refrigerant records that complies with EPA standards Responsible for scheduling day to day activities by priority needs Responsible for performing all types of plumbing and carpentry functions Responsible for assuring all equipment facility checks are completed on a daily basis Monitors facility equipment reoccurring problems and reports status to the proper personnel Responsible for all warranty and non-warranty facility equipment type repairs Responsible of the proper disposal of all hazardous type chemicals
Qualifications:
Strong troubleshooting & diagnostic skills Hands-on HVAC, carpentry, and building / facilities maintenance experience Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn & grow Familiarity with OSHA regulations Ability to work independently or as a member of a team Recommended Skills Carpentry Curiosity Diagnostic Skills Hvac Lighting Maintenance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
